Admission & Eligibility
Admission to all PG Ayurveda courses in India is centralized through a national-level entrance exam.
- Primary Entrance Exam: AIAPGET (All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test), conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
- Eligibility:
o Possession of a BAMS degree from a recognized institution.
o Completion of a one-year compulsory rotatory internship (usually by a cutoff date like August 31 of the admission year).
o Registration: Mandatory provisional or permanent registration with the Central or State AYUSH Council. - Duration: All MD and MS courses are 3 years long.
