Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
The college offers the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), a comprehensive 5½-year undergraduate programme (including one year of compulsory rotatory internship) designed to develop competent Ayurvedic physicians with strong clinical, academic, and research capabilities.
With an annual intake capacity of 100 students, the BAMS curriculum integrates classical Ayurvedic wisdom with modern medical sciences, providing extensive clinical exposure through the attached teaching hospital, skill-based learning, community health programmes, and evidence-based practice.
Postgraduate MD/MS Programmes
DMAMCH&RC also offers Postgraduate MD/MS programmes in Ayurveda, nurturing future academicians, clinicians, researchers, and specialists. The institution currently has an approved intake of 77 postgraduate students annually across 12 specializations, providing advanced training, research opportunities, and multidisciplinary clinical experience.
