DMAMCHRC‘s Preceptorship Programme is designed to cultivate the next generation of healthcare leaders and professionals. Our program fosters a culture of continuous learning and growth, bridging the gap between experienced practitioners and aspiring learners.
Objectives
The Preceptorship Programme aims to:
- Provide Support: Offer solutions to students' problems and provide moral and psychological support.
- Foster a Student-Friendly Environment: Create a supportive ambiance for students.
Expected Achievements
- Horizontal Equanimity: Strengthen bonds and a sense of belonging among students and faculty.
Operational Guidelines
- Student Assignment: Enrolled students are divided into batches and assigned to a senior faculty member (Preceptor) for guidance and support.
- Monthly Meetings: Preceptors meet with students to discuss problems and difficulties, categorized into academic, hostel, and non-academic issues.
- Reporting and Feedback: Preceptors submit reports to the Preceptor-in-charge, who then forwards them to the Co-convener of the Preceptorship Programme.
Activities
- Monthly Meetings: Students and preceptors meet to discuss progress and challenges.
- Research and Publication Review: Students review and discuss research and publications.
- Reporting and Feedback: Preceptors submit reports to the Preceptor-in-charge, who then forwards them to the Co-convener of the Preceptorship Programme.
